2022

SpaceX - Starship Mechanisms

Mechanical Engineering Design Coop

From January to June 2022, I worked as a member of the Starship Mechanisms Team, which is tasked with designing the Thrust Vector Control Actuators for both booster and ship. During my internship I owned designs for both the existing hydraulic actuators, as well as a subsystem of the new electric TVC actuators. 

2021

SpaceX - Starlink Tooling Design

Mechanical Engineering Design Coop

From January to May 2021, I worked as a member of the Starlink Tooling Design Team. During my internship I designed tooling, as well as a space-flown part, to aid in the production of the v1.5 satellites. As of writing, roughly 22% of all operational satellites in orbit were produced with my tools and carry components I designed.

2020

Fikst Product Development

Mechanical Engineering Design Coop

From January to July 2020, I worked as a Mechanical Engineering Design Co-op at Fikst Product Development, a mechical design firm outside of Boston. Fikst specializes in medical device design and I worked on a team in the early design stages of developing a bioreactor for a large life sciences corporation.

2019

ROCHESTER ELECTRONICS

Mechanical Engineering Coop

From May to August 2019, I worked as a Mechanical Engineering Intern at Rochester Electronics, a semiconductor manufacturer based in Newburyport Massachusetts. During my time there, I worked designing fixturing in solidworks that would aid in the production process. I also led the deployment of a 3D Printer into the manufacturing workflow.
